I stumbled upon this company roasting fresh Hatch green chile in front of one of the New Season’s Market in Portland many years ago…
Hatch green chile is from the Hatch Valley in New Mexico. Of course, we bought a ton and used them in all kinds of cooking which took me down a memory lane of my 20’s in Albuquerque.
When we ran out of the fresh roasted, I had to have the “jar” as a staple in my refrigerator! Trust me, it is one of the best!!!
What do I do with it? Let’s see… for starters, you must make scrambles eggs with green chile! Then, you can put this on just about everything. If you are doubtful, just Google it, hahaha…
